Every parameter, one flameproof recorder. Universal inputs across 8 or 16 channels, configurable channel-by-channel, with software-based trending and reporting built for hazardous-area process monitoring.
The AI-800D/1600 FLP is a flameproof universal-input data logger designed to measure and record multiple process parameters. It's available in 8-channel (AI-800D FLP) and 16-channel (AI-1600 FLP) configurations and can accept different types of inputs on different channels, giving facility teams a single hazardous-area rated instrument capable of recording temperature, pressure, humidity, vacuum, flow, pH, conductivity, and other compatible signals together.
Each channel can be independently configured for the required input type: RTD Pt-100 temperature sensors, 4 to 20 mA pressure or humidity signals, temperature transmitters, thermocouples, voltage signals, and current signals, to be specified at the time of ordering. For example, one channel can be used for temperature, another for pressure, another for humidity, and another for flow, giving flexibility when several process parameters need to be recorded in one system rather than across several separate loggers.
The recording or print interval can be programmed from 5 seconds to 9999 seconds, and each printout includes the date, time, channel number, and corresponding measured value, providing a time-associated record of the monitored process. The instrument provides RS232/RS485 computer communication, and is supplied with software offering an online tabular view, data graphing, and Excel sheet reporting, so recorded process information can be viewed and analyzed electronically or trended over time.
Configurable per channel for temperature, pressure, humidity, vacuum, flow, pH, conductivity, and other compatible signals.
Different sensor and signal types mixed on the same instrument.
5 to 9999 seconds.
Date, time, channel number, and measured value included per record.
For data-recording and monitoring system integration.
Online tabular view, data graphing, and Excel sheet reporting.
Operate with only the required number of active inputs.
For hazardous-area installations across Gas Group Areas I, II, IIA, and IIB.
Temperature, pressure and humidity recorded together across bottling and filling areas classified as hazardous, on a single time-stamped, multi-channel record.
The logger supports solvent recovery plant temperature and pressure logging, multi-point temperature mapping across API reactor bays, and hazardous-area warehouse temperature mapping for GDP compliance.
The logger covers wellhead and gas gathering station monitoring, multi-point temperature logging across tank farms and terminals, and offshore platform equipment room monitoring.
The logger handles temperature profiling of batch reactor jackets and vessels, multi-point temperature logging along distillation columns, and hazardous chemical storage monitoring.
Universal inputs allow different measurement types to be handled by one data logger rather than requiring a separate recorder for every parameter. This can simplify panel requirements when temperature, pressure, humidity, vacuum, flow, pH, conductivity, or other signals need to be monitored together, particularly valuable in hazardous-area installations, where each additional instrument means another certified enclosure, another set of hazardous-area wiring, and another point of maintenance. Consolidating multiple parameters into one 8 or 16 channel logger reduces all of that to a single instrument.
Choose the 8-channel AI-800D FLP when the application requires up to eight measurement channels. The AI-1600 FLP is suitable when up to sixteen independent inputs need to be monitored and recorded. The required sensor types should also be specified for each channel, since input configuration (RTD, 4-20 mA, thermocouple, voltage, current) is set channel by channel rather than fixed for the whole instrument. If your current process needs fewer channels than the 16-channel model provides, unused channels can simply be disabled rather than forcing an unnecessary upgrade to the larger unit.
For applications needing up to eight independently configurable universal inputs.
For applications needing up to sixteen independently configurable universal inputs.
The included software provides an online tabular view of all active channels, data graphing for trend review, and Excel sheet reporting for further analysis or documentation. This gives facility and quality teams a direct path from raw logged data to the kind of trended, exportable records regulated manufacturing environments typically need for batch review or audit purposes, without needing separate third-party software to interpret the logger's output.

The AI-800D/1600 FLP belongs to Ace Instruments flameproof instrumentation range, using enclosures certified by CIMFR, Dhanbad, for specified Gas Group Areas I, II, IIA, and IIB. The suitability of the particular configuration must be confirmed against the hazardous-area classification (gas group and temperature class) of the installation, see our full guide to gas group and temperature class classifications on our Flameproof Instruments page for more detail. The instrument's time-stamped, channel-numbered printouts and Excel reporting support facilities working to documented batch and process recordkeeping requirements.
